Meet & Greet at Terminal 2

Follow signs for the Terminal 2 short-stay car park - sat-nav TW6 1EW. The handover happens inside the airport's own car park, not at a parking operator's office.

The approach matters here. As you come up the ramp, stay in the far right-hand lane, follow signs for Level 4 and "Off airport parking", then park in Row B. Drift into the wrong lane and you will end up circling the terminal, which is exactly what you booked Meet & Greet to avoid.

Your driver meets you in Row B and the car is returned to the same place when you land. Call about 20 minutes ahead so they are in position.

Park & Ride to Terminal 2

Two legs from the off-airport compound: the free shuttle bus to Terminal 4, then Heathrow's free train from T4 to Terminal 2.

Allow around ten minutes for the shuttle plus the train, and remember Terminal 2 sits at the opposite end of the central area from T4, so the train leg is a real journey rather than a hop.

The Terminal 2 car park charge

Heathrow charges its own short-stay fee for entering and exiting the Terminal 2 car park - currently around GBP 8.00 for up to 30 minutes each way. It is the airport's charge, you pay it at the machine, and it is not part of your booking. Have a card or cash ready.

Park & Ride does not incur it.

Is Terminal 2 my terminal?

Check your boarding pass rather than assuming. Terminal 2 handles a large share of Heathrow's Star Alliance traffic, but airlines and terminals change, and a Meet & Greet driver waiting at T2 is no use if you are checking in at T3.

Coming back to Terminal 2

Meet & Greet: call when you land, then again once you have your bags, and the car is brought to the Level 4 pick-up point.

Park & Ride: take the free train from Terminal 2 to Terminal 4 and pick up the return shuttle there.
