Meet & Greet at Terminal 5
Follow signs for the Terminal 5 short-stay car park - sat-nav TW6 2GA. Do not drive to a parking company's office; you meet the driver inside the airport's own car park.
As you enter, take the far left lane to reach Level 4, follow the signs for "Off airport parking", and park in Row R or Row S. Your driver meets you there. On your return the car comes back to the same place, so there is only one set of directions to remember.
Call about 20 minutes before you arrive so the driver is in position when you pull in.
Park & Ride to Terminal 5
Park & Ride compounds sit off-airport, so there are two legs to Terminal 5: the free shuttle bus to Terminal 4, then Heathrow's free train from T4 to T5.
The shuttle is around ten minutes and the train adds a few more, so build in the change when you plan your timings. If you would rather not do two legs with luggage, Meet & Greet drops you at the terminal door.
The Terminal 5 car park charge
For Meet & Greet, Heathrow charges its own short-stay fee for entering and exiting - currently around GBP 8.00 for up to 30 minutes each way. That is the airport's charge, not ours, you pay it at the machine, and it is not included in your booking. Bring a payment method.
Park & Ride has no such charge, because you never enter the terminal car park.
Is Terminal 5 my terminal?
Check your boarding pass or booking confirmation rather than going from memory. Airlines move between Heathrow's terminals, and a wrong terminal on a Meet & Greet booking means your driver is waiting somewhere you are not. Heathrow's own website has a flight checker if your pass is not to hand.
Coming back to Terminal 5
For Meet & Greet, call when you land so the car can be prepared, then again once you have your bags so it can be brought to the car park. Flights are monitored, so an early or delayed landing is usually already known about.
For Park & Ride, take the free train to Terminal 4 and pick up the return shuttle from the stop there.
