How Meet & Greet works at Luton
You drive to the terminal at the time you booked. A vetted, insured driver meets you, helps with the luggage, checks the car over with you and takes the keys. You walk to check-in. Your car is driven to a secure, CCTV-monitored compound and parked there.
When you land, the car comes back to the terminal. No shuttle, no transfer, no walking to a remote car park with cases and tired children.
One terminal, no confusion
Luton has a single passenger terminal, so there is no risk of your driver waiting at the wrong one - a real advantage over multi-terminal airports. You will still be asked for your flight number so your return can be tracked.
How much time to allow
Call about 20 minutes before you reach the terminal so the driver is in position. The handover itself takes a few minutes: luggage out, a quick look over the car together, keys across, and you are walking into departures.
Coming home
Call when you land so your car can be prepared, then again once you have your bags. Incoming flights are monitored, so a delay or an early arrival is usually known about before you are through the door.
What to have ready
Your booking reference, your keys, and any unusual starting instructions - a hidden immobiliser switch or an unusual ignition is worth mentioning at handover rather than over the phone later. Take valuables with you, and wait for the driver rather than leaving the car unattended.
Is it worth it at Luton?
The case for Meet & Greet is time and hassle rather than money. Early flights, small children, heavy bags, or simply not wanting to stand at a shuttle stop at 4am. Compare the live prices for your dates above before you decide - at Luton the gap between the two services is smaller than you might expect.
